   By chelating calcium and magnesium ions, prevents scale formation in boilers and pipes. Widely used in boiler water treatment and cooling water systems.
3. Corrosion Inhibition
   Forms protective film on metal surfaces to prevent corrosion. Used in boilers, heat exchangers and cooling water systems.
4. pH Adjustment
   As an alkaline substance, regulates water pH. Used in industrial wastewater and swimming pool water treatment.
5. Dispersant
   Disperses suspended particles to prevent deposition. Used in circulating cooling water systems.
6. Microbial Control
   Inhibits microorganism growth by increasing water pH. Used in drinking water and industrial water treatment.
